Toby Grundon is a Director and Engineer at Grundon Marine. Toby established Grundon Marine in 2001 and has built a successful electronics engineering business and a reputation for high quality and dependable services. Grundon Marine regularly services client vessels all over the world. The flexible and responsive business model that Toby has established, means that vessels can be serviced by Grundon Marine’s qualified engineers anywhere in the world at short notice.
Toby began a career in electronics when he joined the RAF in 1982 at the age of 17. During his career in the RAF, he worked on a range of aircraft as an air radar engineer. Afterwards, he joined a marine electronics company, working on radar systems for ships, where he developed knowledge and expertise in the marine industry before deciding to establish Grundon Marine.
At Grundon Marine, Toby oversees all engineering work and business operations. His knowledge about marine electronics for commercial vessels is second to none, which greatly assists clients with confidence and to determine the most suitable marine electronic solution for their purpose. Toby has worked on a full range of commercial vessels, including naval, and has designed and built many bespoke systems for clients.
